Top 5 Best Soft Serve in Montreal (Great for TikTok and Instagram Content Creation)
So you love soft serve, and you’re in MTL QC (or you hate soft serve, in which case, why are you here?)
The following places are my favourite spots in which to grab fresh and delicious swirls in the French Canadian Québécois city. They are all worth trying, and warning - it will be difficult not to go back for more.
Enjoy!
swirl
Location: 1067 Rue de Bleury, Montréal
Given a name like ‘swirl’, this completely-dedicated-to-soft-serve shop is a surefire hit for the frozen treat. Check back often, as they switch up the flavours!
le blueboy: Artisan Glacier
Location: 150 Mont-Royal Avenue East, Montreal
You will never leave Le Blueboy feeling blue, since they have such fabulous soft serve! These creations are creative, unique, and often feature exciting toppings. What a serve.
kem coba
Location: 60 Av. Fairmount Ouest
Don’t be surprised to f ind a long line outside of Kem CoBa, one of the most unique soft serve spots in the French Canadian capital. This parlour always has intriguing ‘Twists of the Moment’ that change up regularly based on fresh ingredients. There are also some permanent ice creams, but I encourage you to try their standout soft serves!
N.B. They are cash only (it’s worth it though, trust me).
unicone
Location: 3873 Saint Denis Street, Montreal
For a true trip for your tastebuds, grab a ticket to Unicone. This chic space consistently features a new flavour combo inspired by different countries and cultures. There are also ice cream options on offer, but I’m a sucker for the soft serve!
le depanneur cafe
Location: 206 Rue Bernard Ouest
Le Dépanneur Café sells a myriad of Quebec specific products, such as chocolates, maple syrups, and apparel.
They always have excellent soft serve on offer, inspired by the French Canadian province. The one on show here? Caramel Apple… I mean, come on. Yum!
